Bernard Stilwell Architects are a close-knit team of talented designers, producing award-winning architecture since 1997.

Bernard Stilwell and Patrick Monaghan previously worked with the eminent modernist architects Powell & Moya - the first practice to win the prestigious RIBA Gold Medal, where Bernard was a Director.

These strong roots in British modern architecture, and strong ethical grounding, have enabled BSA to grow and develop our own passion for thoughtful architecture, with close attention to design with social responsibility – architecture that responds to the needs of people, and the environment. Developing a reputation for solving complex problems w ith elegant solutions, and getting things built.

We're based in the heart of London's creative district in vibrant Shoreditch, in our own self-designed studios in a historic warehouse conversion.
